Merum (LayOut)
Layout for a magazin about Italian wine and Olive Oil in German language.
Merum is a magazin about Italian wine and Olive Oil in German language. In the main part there are articles about more or less known Italian wine regions, News and other informations about the wine and olive oil business. All articles and pictures are provided by journalists who live in Italy and speak Italian fluently. In the 'Merum Selezione Vino' one can find a selection of wines which have been tasted by the Merum-Team. The data is provided by a huge database and imported as tagged text (XML) in InDesign CC.
I tried to create a clean and organized layout. The main article (usually about 20+ pages, illustrated with big pictures and maps) is layouted in two columns, while the Info-pages (short messages, few pages) in four columns. The database part is layouted in three columns, printed in black/white, no pictures at all and can be taken out. I chose a recycling paper for a better distinction between the two parts.
